To ensure that the final print faithfully represents your work, files must be strictly prepared according to the following specifications:
1. Format and Dimensions
Measurements: Before starting the layout, confirm the exact measurements of the selected format. Files should be created using our templates, as they have the exact dimensions and include a safety margin of 0.2" (approx. 0.5 cm) for most products (with the exception of Fine Art paper products, where the margin is 0.3" (approx. 0.8 cm)) around the entire perimeter. These templates automatically include safety guide lines to prevent important elements from being cropped and can be downloaded from our Download Area.
2. Color Profile and Mode
Color Profile: Use the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile. It is essential that this profile is embedded in the file, preferably before you start editing.
Color Mode: Files must be created in RGB mode.
3. Resolution and Export
Resolution: 300 DPI (dots per inch).
File Format: Save as JPG.
Quality: Select maximum quality (Quality 12) to avoid compression artifacts.
Tip: Correct monitor calibration and the use of our color profile ensure that tones are accurately interpreted by our printing equipment.
