The DreambooksPro Express Editor is compatible with the macOS operating system. However, due to Apple's security protocols, you need to authorize the installation of applications from outside the App Store.
Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure a correct installation:
1. Prepare Security Permissions Before starting the installation, check if your Mac allows external software:
Click on the Apple icon (top left corner) and select "System Preferences" (or "System Settings").
Choose the "Security & Privacy" option.
In the "General" tab, click the Lock icon in the bottom left corner and enter your administrator password to allow changes.
In the "Allow apps downloaded from" field, ensure the selected option is: "App Store and identified developers".
2. Download and Install
Go to https://us.dreambookspro.com/express, click the MacOS button, and wait for the file to download.
Open the downloaded file. A window will appear with the DreambooksPro icon and the Applications folder.
Drag the DreambooksPro icon into the Applications folder.
3. First Run
Go to your Applications folder and open DreambooksPro.
The system may display the warning: "DreambooksPro is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?"
Click "Open".
The installation is complete. After logging in, you can use the application normally. Future updates will be mostly automatic.
