No. The three standard typographies we provide for engraving (Georgia, Impact, and Optima) have very similar proportions and dimensions to ensure an elegant and harmonious finish.
Here are the approximate dimensions you should consider when planning your design:
Height: Uppercase letters are about 9mm tall, while lowercase letters (available in the Optima font) measure about 6mm in height.
Width: The width is not fixed. It varies naturally according to the physiognomy of each character (for example, the letter "I" logically takes up less horizontal space than the letter "M"), always ensuring the correct visual proportion of the word.
Spacing: The space between characters varies approximately between 1mm and 3mm, depending on the selected font.
Tip: If your project requires exact measurements, considerably larger/smaller letters, or a specific typography not found in these options, we advise creating a Custom Stamp by submitting your own vector file.
