Initially, no. The warping of the pages is a natural physical phenomenon caused by the environmental conditions to which the album is exposed (excess or lack of humidity), being an external condition to DreambooksPro's production.
To reverse this effect, we ask that you perform a small stabilization procedure. Important Notice: Before starting, take photographs of the album to record the "before" and "after" of the process.
Follow the steps below depending on the type of environment the album is in:
Scenario A:
Excess Humidity
Step 1: Place 2 silica gel bags (5g) next to the album.
Step 2: Cover the album with plastic so that it is completely isolated (if possible, also wrap the velvet bag and the packaging box).
Step 3: Store the set in a horizontal position, in a place at room temperature.
Step 4: The album must remain isolated in this position for at least 48 hours.
Scenario B:
Lack of Humidity (Very dry environment)
Step 1: If the album is near an air conditioner or an excessively dry place, remove it from that room immediately.
Step 2: Place the album in a horizontal position, in a place with natural room temperature, and wait 48 hours.
What to do next? If this procedure is strictly followed, the warping of the pages should disappear. If, after 48 hours, the anomaly persists, please contact our Customer Support line (attaching the before and after photographic evidence) so we can proceed with a detailed technical analysis.
