The entire line of DreambooksPro products — which covers our Albums, Boxes, Printboxes, Pen Boxes, among other items — benefits from a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects (with the exception of USB pens, which follow the technological goods rule of a 3-year warranty).
As these are handcrafted pieces, composed of sensitive materials, maintaining this warranty is strictly conditioned to compliance with good usage practices. To keep your product protected, you must respect the following conservation pillars:
1. The Ideal Environment
Humidity Control (50% to 60%): Sudden temperature variations or excessive humidity can warp wood and curl photographic paper. Keep the products in controlled environments. If you notice curling on pages or prints, place the product in an isolated plastic bag with the Silica Gel (sent with the order) for 48 hours, laying flat in a dry place.
Light and Temperature: Direct sun exposure or leaving the items in places with extreme heat (like inside vehicles) causes rapid fading of images, besides causing irreversible damage to the structure and the glues of the coverings.
2. Handling Rules
Tactile Care and Cleaning: Always handle the items with clean, dry hands, avoiding direct contact with the photographic prints. For fabric covers, attention must be doubled to avoid stains. External cleaning should be done exclusively with a dry, soft cloth (like microfiber). Contact with liquids damages and sticks the materials together.
Support Surfaces: When presenting or handling the boxes and albums, always use flat, smooth, and clean surfaces. Never drag the products, otherwise you may damage the bases. For albums, the opening should never exceed 180º to protect the integrity of the spine and the block.
3. Storage and Transport
Correct Positioning: To avoid deformations caused by the piece's own weight, heavier products (like robust albums or composite boxes) should preferably be stored in a horizontal position.
Impact Protection: Transport must always be done in the original packaging, bags, or storage boxes. A simple fall can compromise the entire structure of the product.
Important Warning: The identification of anomalies resulting from non-compliance with these guidelines (which are also included in the User Manual sent with the order) exempts DreambooksPro from responsibility. Damage due to misuse results in the non-acceptance of the claim and the consequent cancellation of the lifetime warranty.
