To ensure you strictly follow the conservation plan for your albums, DreambooksPro provides a user manual that comes with your order (inside the album). If you don't have it with you, follow these fundamental instructions:
1. Avoid humid places (ideal humidity: 50% to 60%) Humidity and temperature variations can damage the album. If you notice the pages warping, check our FAQ to confirm the best action to take. Keep the absorption bag (Silica Gel) as it will be useful: if the album is warped, place it inside the original packaging with the gel, isolate it in a plastic bag, and keep it horizontal in a dry place for 48 hours. The warping should disappear.
2. Avoid sun exposure or very hot places Never leave the album in a place with direct sunlight. Its durability may decrease, causing color loss in both the photographs and the cover materials. Leaving the album in places with very high temperatures (e.g., inside cars) can cause irreparable damage.
3. Handle with care (handmade product) Always handle the album with clean, dry hands. Avoid touching the pages directly. For fabric covers, this care must be doubled. If the pages come into contact with any liquid, they may stick together and become damaged.
4. Open only on flat and smooth surfaces Open the album on flat surfaces and never at an angle greater than 180º to prevent the block from tearing or ungluing. Make sure the surface is not rough and avoid dragging the album, as this damages the covers.
5. Store with care (always horizontally) Always keep the album closed and in a horizontal position to preserve its quality. If stored vertically, the weight of the block could damage the spine. For cleaning, use only a dry, soft cloth (e.g., microfiber).
6. Always transport inside the original packaging Bags and boxes not only make transportation safer but also protect the album from external aggressions. A fall can damage both the cover and the block.
Important Note: Failure to comply with any of the points presented exempts DreambooksPro from responsibility for possible anomalies, which may lead to the non-acceptance of a potential claim.
