To ensure your product personalization (UV Printing, Laser Engraving, Embossing, etc.) is visually correct, we apply specific centering rules.
1. Measurement Rules
Album Covers: The center is aligned exclusively with the main cover board (rigid area), disregarding the spine’s curvature zone. This ensures the design remains centered on the cover when the album is closed.
Boxes: Measurement is performed across the entire surface of the lid.
2. When does this rule apply?
This automatic centering method is applied whenever:
You select the "Center" projection option in our templates.
You submit a file without using our masks (with no defined positioning).
3. Consistency Alert (New orders using the same file)
If you submit files without a mask (e.g., just a standalone logo or image), the size and position are adjusted manually by our production team.
The Risk: If you place a new order using the same file for engraving or UV printing, there may be differences in size or position between the two orders due to the manual adjustment process.
The Solution: If you need to repeat a job (e.g., an album identical to a previous one) and the file is not within a mask, you must state in the comments: "The design is not in the mask, but must match the size of Order [PREVIOUS ORDER NUMBER]."
By doing this, the production team will attempt to match the previously produced size, although total consistency can only be guaranteed when using our official masks.
