To ensure the proper preservation of your albums, DreambooksPro provides a user manual that is included with your order inside the album. In case you do not have the manual for any reason, please follow the instructions below:
-
Do not keep your album in humid places.
(Ideal humidity: 50% to 60%) Humidity and temperature variations can damage the album. If there are any page waves, please refer to our FAQ section to analyze the type of wave and confirm the best course of action. Keep the moisture-absorbing bag (Silica Gel) as it may be useful in such situations. If your album is wavy, place it inside the packaging along with the moisture-absorbing bag, isolated in a plastic cover. Store it horizontally in a dry place for 48 hours, and the waves should disappear. - Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or hot places.
Never leave your album in a location where it is exposed to direct sunlight. The album's durability may decrease, resulting in color loss not only in the photographs but also in the covering materials. Leaving the album in high-temperature areas (e.g., inside vehicles) can cause irreparable damage. - Handle the album with care as it is an artisanal product.
When handling the album, ensure your hands are clean and dry. Whenever possible, avoid touching the pages. This caution should be doubled for fabric covers. If the pages come into contact with any liquids, they may stick together and cause damage. - Always open it on flat and smooth surfaces.
Open the album on flat surfaces, never at an angle greater than 180º, to prevent the pages from tearing or detaching. Make sure the surface on which the album rests is smooth and not rough. Avoid dragging it, as it may damage the coverings or materials. - Store it with great care.
Keeping the album closed and stored horizontally will preserve its quality. If stored vertically, the weight of the pages may damage the album's spine. You can use a soft, dry cloth (e.g., microfiber) to clean your album. - Always transport it in the album's original packaging.
Suitcases/boxes not only make transportation safer but also protect against external aggression. A drop can damage not only the cover but also the pages.
