To ensure the final finish is absolutely crisp, your design file must strictly meet the following technical requirements:
Vector Format: The file must be submitted in a vector format (PDF, AI, or EPS).
100% Black: The entire design must be 100% pure Black (C=0 M=0 Y=0 K=100), without any transparencies, shadows, or gradients. The black areas in your file are read by the machine to know exactly where the transparent varnish will be deposited.
Outlined Text: All typographies used in the design must be converted to curves/outlines.
Line Thickness: Avoid excessively thin lines or elements that are too close together. As the varnish has volume and viscosity, microscopic lines may not retain the desired 3D effect, and very tight negative spaces may end up "closing" and merging. We recommend using solid and well-defined designs.
Use of appropriate masks for the cover size: It is mandatory to download and use the specific product masks available in the downloads area, ensuring you use the correct mask for its exact size.
